At Kare Publishing, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethical practices in our publishing processes. Our commitment extends to ensuring the fairness, transparency, and honesty of our editorial and review processes across all our journals in medical, engineering, and social sciences.
Ethical Guidelines
Our publication ethics policy is based on the following principles:
Fair Play and Impartiality: All submitted manuscripts are evaluated solely based on their academic and scientific merit without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
Confidentiality: Editors and editorial staff will not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript will not be used in an editor's own research without the express written consent of the author.
Publication Decisions: The editors are responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published, based on the validation of the work and its importance to researchers and readers.
Involvement and Cooperation in Investigations: In the case of ethical complaints or retractions regarding the research or publications, our editorial team will take reasonable responsive measures in collaboration with the publisher.

- Initial Screening: The editorial office first assesses manuscripts for adherence to scope, formatting guidelines, and basic methodological standards.
- Selection of Reviewers: Manuscripts passing the initial screening are typically evaluated by at least two independent, qualified reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers are expected to disclose potential conflicts of interest and to maintain confidentiality.
- Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers assess the manuscript’s originality, methodology, data quality, clarity of presentation, validity of results, relevance, and significance.
- Decision Making: The Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editors consider reviewer comments and make a decision: accept, revise, or reject. Revisions may go through multiple rounds of peer review until final acceptance or rejection.
- Conflicts of Interest and Funding Disclosure
Authors, editors, and reviewers are required to disclose all financial and non-financial relationships that could potentially influence, or appear to influence, their work. This includes:
- Authors: Must provide a full disclosure statement listing all funding sources, institutional or corporate affiliations, and any personal interests (e.g., consulting fees, patents, royalties).
- Reviewers and Editors: Must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where they have a conflict of interest.
- Ethical Considerations
The journal adheres to recognized standards of research and publication ethics as set forth by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and relevant guidelines such as the Declaration of Helsinki. Authors are responsible for following these ethical principles:
- Human and Animal Subjects: Research involving human participants must have institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee approval, and informed consent must be obtained. Studies with animals must comply with international and national guidelines for humane care and use.
- Data Integrity and Reproducibility: Authors must ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. The journal encourages authors to make raw data and protocols available for verification where possible.
- Image and Data Manipulation: Any digital manipulation of images must be disclosed. Fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting of data is strictly prohibited.

- Authorship Criteria: Authors listed must have made a significant intellectual contribution to the work, approved the final manuscript, and agreed to be accountable for its content.
- Open Access and Copyright
The journal may adopt open-access or subscription-based models. If open access:

- Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections
The journal supports the ongoing discourse and correction of the scholarly record:
- Letters and Comments: Readers are encouraged to submit letters to the editor or commentary that critically analyzes published articles.
- Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern: If errors or misconduct are discovered post-publication, the journal will publish corrections, issue retractions, or provide formal notices according to COPE guidelines.

The Editor-in-Chief and editorial board members are committed to maintaining scientific integrity and editorial independence.
- Appeals and Complaints

Complaints about editorial processes or publication ethics can be directed to the editorial office and will be handled following established procedures to ensure a transparent and impartial resolution.
